Juniors and sophomores - Sign up now for the June SATs or ACTs! Juniors who are UC bound must take both SAT I or ACT AND SAT II. When you take the SAT II you must take writing, math (either level) and one more subject of your choice. Engineering majors should take the highest level of math they understand, and should choose a science as their third subject.

Seniors - Please let us know your plans after high school. We will host a senior reception brunch on May 1, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Career Center. This is the day all four year colleges need to know if you plan to accept their offers of admission. So, we want to know where you’re going and honor that choice. Plan now to attend this casual, fun event during the SAT 9 testing your underclassmen will be taking.

Seniors and parents - We want to honor all senior achievements, awards and honors at Senior Awards Night, June 4th. We want to know about both - awards accepted and awards offered (example, students can not accept a presidential scholarship at more than one school, but might be offered similar scholarships at three or four universities). We won’t announce awards not accepted, but we do track them. Please call the Career Center at 632-1600 ext. 424 or 420 or e-mail us at ccutts@rocklin.k12.ca.us with details on all scholarships, awards, etc. that your senior has received.
